There is a limit of €50 on gifts to non-employees (legal directive regarding public funds), so gift certificates to test subjects are also included in this. Never purchase individual gift certificates higher than that amount. Otherwise misery for distribution and reimbursement.
Even better: buy ones of €25, also gives more flexibility (wink wink) in handing them out.
